Just wanted to say good thread. He was before my time but got to know things about him and what he did. Michael Lorenzen of the Cincinnati Reds got close to his family this year as a recipient of his award and thought about him again this year. Got one of his earl 70's cards from a flea market in the 80's for like 5 bucks. Got it sealed up!
