Plays for Del Mar Thursday:
R4 #8 Deputy Doc-Stretches out today for decent barn. Wouldn’t mind seeing jock gun for the lead with this one in here. French Rebel will be overbet so I see a decent price for this one.
R6 #5 Taliano-None much better that West first off the claim. This runner has a bit of back class, especially as a 2yo when he competed in stakes. Obviously something went amiss in the race that West claimed him, but the steady and solid worktab for his comeback lead me to believe he’s worked it out. Running for double the claim price is a positive sign also. Doubt that he’ll be 10/1, but I’ll take it if he is.
R9 #3 Radio Caroline-Makes second start for superior barn. Showed signs of life when dropped to mcl last time on the grass. Trainer does well with the route/sprint move. Looking for an improved effort here in a weak field.
