I just heard in the news of a same sex couple
filing for a divorce.

How about same sex couples adopt children then
seek a divorce, who gets custody of the children.

If two bachelors marry do they lose thier standing.

Lawyers must be drooling at the prospects.

They are going to get a phony divorce so they can get the divorce laws changed to allowed same sex divorces; they dropped the balls on that change!
Better yet, they need to chnage the divorce law to "fill a hole in the dyke".
Lesbians will not need the same sex divorce laws but homosexuals will. Everyone knows when you rub 2 sticks together you get fire.
