Just because something dirty happened in another sport doesn't make racing any less crooked by comparison.

This is one example of cheating in college football, and it's a national news story today. You'll never see ESPN lead with a story about corruption in racing, not because it doesn't happen, but because it's so commonplace.

In college football, a story such as this might be news...but in horse racing, it's commonplace. The swift and just prosecution of a thieving trainer or jockey...now THERE is a rare story worth reporting...if such a development ever occurred.

But aren't 'eagle eyed stewards' watching the jocks room carefully, to, you know, make sure that jocks who have 'relationships' with each other aren't, you know, 'taking turns' winning, or, something like that? If that was going on, they would catch it and the offenders would be indicted or arrested or something.

Don't you think?
