Lamar Jackson's story of his mom donning the full pads and teaching him football in the backyard was great. She used to drive him into the dirt with her tackles to toughen him up. I think he said, his dad went to prison on the same day his older brother was shot dead in some restaurant. Mom was determined he wouldn't wind up the same. Nice kid.
I think Jabrille Peppers was the best football player I've seen this year, and has the best chance to make it in the pros. First time I saw him at Michigan, it was like Wow, who is this guy? Another Desmond Howard.
