Check each horse for the following...

The horse is owned by the Breeder
or Is owned by the Trainer. ....

Give these horses a close look.
Once the horses get to b 5yr olds...The angle really doesnt
work that well. But have a look at Maidens and younger
horses. In many Maiden races... several of the horses
may fit... Of course there are big stables who continue to
own their horses after they are bred by the Stable. In any
case .. check it out. You will be pleasantly surprised.....
Especially if the horse figures to have a chance...according
to your handicappng.

Thanks for the info. I've suspected something along those lines but have been too lazy to follow up. Your tip has inspired me to do a little work on it and open my eyes a little wider.

Glad you could use it .... Some of the mutuels are amazing..It
normally works better if there are some switches..like Jockey
Distance etc. Let me know how it goes...

At podunk tracks or Calif. Fairs, owner-trainer-breeder (all the same) was a pretty good angle where there wasn't much info otherwise (like mdn/mcl or non-Tbreds previously racing who-knows-where).

had a system out long ago that included the owner/trainer, owner/breeder as a factor in developing your handicapping awareness. been out a long time and i always take a quick peek to see whos got what with this horse. catch a nice winner every once in a while

Yup you FOUND EARL THE PEARL right here :) The world
famous POP system :) ... It is still a good approach .. but the
mutuels simply arent there any longer. Too much info for the
public. I still look at the " Odds Patterns " The workouts and
of course some Trainer moves. Glad u found me.
