Thursday December 8, Race 4., at Hawthorne.

$107,000 in show pool on the #1 Drinkinatthebar was just edged out for third.

Show pay offs $52.40, 18.20, and $144.40.

The ancient infield tote could not post the large show payoff.

That's nuts. I got lucky with some show money on the 3. It was just a normal bet since I didn't see the bridge jump money. I did a double take when I say my balance.

Bridge jumping a 2 lifetime $4000 claimer doesn't seem like a sound strategy. To each his own though.

Maybe it was the same guy. That would be something.

Not exactly a bridge jumper, but I wanted to ask the forum - who is playing over $70,000 pick six's on an Aqueduct Thursday (even with a large c/o). How many investors would be in on this?

after watching that replay that's pretty criminal there boy.... yet no one will even blink an eye cause it was Haw on a Thursday.. everything smelled like shit there from the starter popping the gate while looking at the horse throwing his head just ft away. to that sad attempted by that jockey late in the stretch where he becomes stiff as a board and stop driving      UNBELIEVABLE!.. lots of shenanigans going on lately this Holiday season.

I watched the replay and it sure didn't look like the rider had a lot of interest late in the race. I like to apply the "million dollar" question to things like this. If the rider would have pocketed $1M for hitting the board, would his action, hand movement, scrubbing, etc been different? My guess is absolutely.

Nice catch - just watched the replay. That was brutal in the final 16th - jockey was restraining the horse. WTF?

Don't know if they were involved or responsible this time around, but does something like the Twinspires players pool get up in this cost vicinity?

I wonder if the jockey has a photo of his idol, Kent D. on his wall.
