This came up in the TFUS thread, so I will move it here to keep that one uncluttered.

The adjustment to a TFUS fig to get the Beyer equivalent is ~ [-20].
I have been using that for a while with pretty good results.
I convert the TF pace and speed to the Quirin scale because I know for sure what a 110-105 race is, but not so much a 152 - 125. Been using the Q scale since 1977 or so, so pretty much ingrained.

Anyways, first up, TFUS to Beyer.
I used winning race figs from the BC Saturday card. Not sure what beaten lengths would do to it, but that is the next step.

First, here is the BC Classic and Sprint for comparison.
TFUS column is the final speed rating, and the PF is the pace adjusted figure. I left out the race names because I did not want to reveal specific figures when they are not mine to give out.

Brown is poly track races.

More....a lot more variation with the juveniles, as I thought there might be.

Much more variation on the grass.
Pace really comes into play here.
