Not sure how this fits in with "draining the swamp," but a very clever move weighting the two posts equally. I predict a pissing contest before the inauguration - may the best man win!

Not, you have to operate with the team in synergy or you feel Ivanka Trump's dagger after it is too late for today and too early for tomorrow, the Donald's address change will have no change on that.

I never was concerned about him "draining the swamp" completely.

Reince Priebus is a good choice. He can be the bridge between Donald Trump and the establishment Republicans.

Maybe they should catch all of the civil disobedient rioters and throw them into the swamp for a couple months before they drain it - the stench is already there.

Chief of Staff is a very critical position. Preibus is a really bright and passionate guy, and a 100% Republican. I think Trump may have been better off with someone with closer Congressional credentials - say Bob Corker -- because I think that is where Trump is going to be the weakest. He doesn't know the inner workings of the Congress and I doubt he has a great sense of how things really get done in D.C.

As for Bannon, everybody needs their Karl Rove.

The Priebus appointment looks like a sign of good relations with the House.

Donald Trump's choice of Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus as his White House chief of staff Sunday could not have played out better for the House speaker. Ryan and Priebus aren't just from the same state: They're close friends just two years apart in age who go back two decades in Wisconsin politics.

The selection all but guarantees that Ryan will keep his job as House speaker — an outcome that was very much in question just five days ago. Not only that, he'll have a direct line to a White House occupied by a president with whom Ryan butted heads repeatedly during the campaign.

“I'm very proud and excited for my friend @Reince. Congrats!” Ryan tweeted just minutes after Trump made his pick.
