I just watched ESPN's top 25 sports movies and agree with most of them. However, I was shocked to see that Rocky was not in the top 25 sports movies..

I thought maybe it was becuase they shied away from boxing movies, but I noticed Ali and Raging Bull were on the list..

it was only for the last 25 years (ESPN's 25 years old this year), which is a stupid way to do it, but that's why rocky missed the cut.

Wasn't it limited to the last 25 years?

I was thinking the same thing...

I can't believe that Rocky was older than Raging Bull

In ESPN's self serving world, all creation began in 1979. BTW, are they done patting themselves on the back over the ESPYs? What a lame award show.

CJ,

>>Wow, its hard to believe that movie is over 25 years old. I'm getting old... <<

...So's Stallone.

Saw him recently in Shade... an excellent card grifter movie, btw. He played such a small, insignificant role. Not insignificant to the plot but just about anybody could have played it.

And, boy, did he look old.

The there was Rocky II....

Rocky:Come on why do I have to chase a chicken, It's embarrassing you know.

Mickey: First because I said so, and second, chickenchasin' is how we always used to train in the old days.

It gets me every time.....RockyIII-V will not be mentioned as a public service.
