R R Rodriguez horses have been much better on the Dirt than on the Turf at Belmont

Of his 26 wins overall 22 of them have been on the Dirt since September

He was having a decent October on the Dirt in terms of return on investment prior to October 21st but then it seems as the weather changed and the rain came down so did his returns on investment.

It also didn't help that he pulled a C C Brown and entered 11 horses on October 22nd which took away a solid portion of the gains made within the month

I will be watching his horses for the last week of Belmont especially with Claimers or with Irad Ortiz!!!

The returns overall are slightly higher as I did not reduce the calculations for win place and show wagering on October 9th as there was only win wagering in the 3rd race on that day

Since this post R R Rodriguez horses have struggled to hit the board

Since the 2 wins on the 26th and the 27th R R Rodriguez horses have have only hit the board twice and both of them were show finishes

It seems his horses respond better on a Fast surface as opposed to a wet surface
