FBI Names New Top Agent In Albany

ALBANY, N.Y. -- The FBI has named a new top agent for eastern New York state and Vermont.
William Chase, who oversaw programs against organized crime, drugs and violent crime in Boston, is the new agent-in-charge in Albany.
Chase, a 47-year-old Massachusetts native with a law degree, joined the agency in 1983. He will supervise 80 agents in a region from Albany to Binghamton, Syracuse, Kingston and Plattsburgh, as well as agents in Burlington and Rutland Vermont.
