:3: is cold on the board. without a big opinion i want no part.

:2: is cheap but getting bet
:5: is interesting. owned and trained by 'Team D', they passed up a good off-turf to run in this turf race. They REALLY want this one on the turf now.

:10: is a pro, but he looks like a type to round-out an ex or tri

:9:I don't like the favorite profiteer at all. he steadied but he saved a ton of horse. That's it?? why am i supposed to love this horse?(other than being a tall pretty son of a gun)

:2:california swing is a (comparitive)monster(to this field)- position and rating comfortably is the only question.

:4: data room is a bit dangerous if the 2 wastes energy. He was green 1st out. Today he'll be focused and have no wasted energy in his closing momentum.

:5: is a hell of a price. This field is tough but he can contend.

:6::8: are ok to add on larger tickets

I think the 2 will be 5/2 or a touch higher

I have to throw $2 to win on :2:. That's a little bit better than fair value here.

Jerkens has this prospect :6:. He's got 1/4"bends , but he's only in here for a training race, and could be a late running factor if the race falls apart.

Race revolves around Pletcher. :4: is his first call here. However, that does not dismiss the :3: from the same barn. Winstar didn't get a piece for their health. Pletcher often doesn't care if both his horses run 1-2.

Very poor ride by Franco. And this is before I've seen the replay. Did too much work on a horse that was much the best.

Yeah. That was a poor ride. Never let her relax and asked her too soon, before entering, which screwed up her footwork, and took her a while to change leads.

And, of course, you have the PUNK, Irad, with his constant herding in the lane. Sooner or later he'll have a serious spill.

Interesting race with a chance to make some money. Key players, by post position:

:1:, Forest Lass: brutal, brutal trip by Contreras last out; and she goes an extra 1/8th today. But she just might get stuck inside and force Mr Premature to shoot it late.

:3:, Lisa's Escarpment: inside, some trouble, and gapped early 1st time out. Took her a while to change leads but she ran well late in race that came apart. Extra 1/8th will help but maybe she breaks well and actually has to run early.

:4:, Dilly, Dally, Darby: two nice efforts going 6F. The other Gonzalez in the race.

:10:, Silver Ring: out of same race as the 3 but did a ton more running early (wide) and held well.

I couldn't understand why this horse wasn't getting bet. But it got crushed late.

Robert Fischer
10-08-2016, 04:22 PM
Both ran really big.

I want to say the 1 Practical Joke is much more attractive going forward, but you can't necessarily rule out a horse like the 3 from the juvenile

I thought 3 ran his heart out, but he also had a positional advantage over the baffert rival

ps of course i saved:

Robert Fischer
10-08-2016, 04:30 PM
What do you think about the JCGC?

Only opinion i really have is that Mubtahiij sucks.

I have to re-watch Effinex in youtube hd and see if I feel he's reliable.

Hoppertunity is interesting on paper - he's faced comparative monsters, and those paces were kind of slow, but even with the drop in class, - we kinda know who Hopp is at this point. If everyone else is hanging in the stretch maybe he trips up late, but I'm not crazy about the idea.

Protonico draws the rail and has a puncher's chance to inherit a stubborn slowish pace on that 1 1/4 gate placing...

any opinions JCGC??

CRUSHaroo

Comprehensively.

Seriously, I need to check the headon. It appears the 6 got blocked late. Wouldn't have mattered for me, however

Edit: 6 got shut off a bit very, very late but couldn't run with the 1 and go through the hole when it counted

Robert Fischer

I agree with Effinex (although I'm now obviously praying for Protonico)

few scenarios

1. - protonico wires and i collect 475 after an awful day of capping :D

2. - protonico leads and we see a reenactment of the 2016 Suburban with Protonico playing the part of SamRat and Effinex starring as himself. (:6::1: $ex)
2a. we see a reenactment as above, but instead of mubtaahij lugging badly while flattening up the hole inside, we see Hoppertunity winning inside late with that same Moses trip. (:3::6::1: $tri)

or
3. Effinex trounces this outclassed field @ 6/5 , and nothing else really interesting or fun happens

3 is most likely.

I throw a few $ on each scenario
