Race One:

Solid duo: Irad and Rudy. Slight stretch helps. Shorter field. Buda Bing…? 2 Dancer’s Edge: Value? Will benefit from slight stretch. Hall-of Famer, Johnny V. Get in game, earlier. Closing. Surprise? It wouldn’t be! 4 Mr. Sam went “chalk” in this company (same runners). New barn. Danny Gargan. He does well: 1st after claim & beaten fave. Solid work.

Race Two:

2 Rockin Alli: Out and going, inside, on speed-favoring rye. Handal barn. Do I hear: Improve? Shorter field. Solid work-tab. “Double-A”. 4 Angel Choir: On the shelf for over 10 months. Concern. Yet, she can come off the bench. Faced better. Loves Belmont. Ignore last. Jose O. 1 Doukas: Dropping. Stalk-pounce or stalk-sputter? Irad for “Triple R”. Hot combo. Inside. Question: Can she get the distance? Decent tab. 6 Forever for Always: Pick-up-the-pieces, pass-faders type. Might plod along for part. Faced better in the past. Eric Cancel for Jena A.

Race Three:

6 Courtmewithcarats: Better post. Shorter field. Room to maneuver. Value. Switch to Jose O. for Brian Lynch. Buda Bing, Buda Boom! 5 Cursor: “The Logical”. Will benefit from one-panel stretch. Coming late. Coming fast. Mark Hennig: Solid meet. Javier: “El Maestro”. 3 Special Risk: Ambitiously entered in Grade I Spinaway. Back with kind she can handle. First-time Lasix. Third off a layoff. Irad for “RRR”. 2 Drip Brew: Out and going. How far can she carry her speed? Added half-panel makes it tougher. Kendrick Carmouche for red-hot Ron M.

Race Four:

2 Church Social: Came from off pace in last, but ran out of real estate. Shorter field. In contention, early? 1st time blinkers. Jose O. for “Shug”. 3 Tapit Together: Sitting on a win. Fits in this company. Coming off tailgate. Closing…and at the wire. Joel Rosario for Mike Matz. 1 Withhold: Just missed at Monmouth in last on lawn. Should benefit from inside post. Might surprise. Jose Lezcano for Chad Brown. 8 Chase Motto: Switches to lawn for Chad, “The Turfmeister”. Javier reprises. Best at rating and positioning horses. Decent turf pedigree.

Race Five:

5 Don Dulce: Just missed in last in this company. Shortens up. Must get into game, sooner. Bruce Levine does well with beaten faves. 4 Praetereo: Won last time against slightly weaker. Solid record at distance. Likes Belmont oval. Manny Franco for Steve Klesaris. 1 Stormin Monarcho has faced much better. David Jacobson does extremely well with first time claiming. Angel Arroyo in irons. 2 Winter Games: Did nothing in last against better. Eased. On shelf. DRF: “suspicious class drop”. At best: a factor. Javier for Rudy R.

Race Six:

11 Barbie Stones: Beaten fave, similar. Outside post helps. The veteran Aaron Gryder. Half-panel helps. Bruce Levine good with beaten faves. 10 Satin Frost switches to main sprint after turf routes. Dom Schettino good with blinkers off. Been on shelf, yet solid recent work. Junior A. 8 Palladian Bridge: Has faced better. Hit board in all three tries. Can she handle slight stretch? Luis Saez in the irons for Michael Dilger. 12 Pride Leader: Longshot try. Switches from turf to dirt. Maiden special to selling ranks. Outside post helps. Jose L. for John Hertler.

Race Seven:

7 Sly Tom: Faced better and finished third against better in last. Joe Sharp does extremely well in the second time with trainer category. 6 Mambo At the Gym: another gelding who has faced better. Could do nothing on main in last. Back on lawn. Manny Franco for Mike Maker. 2 Second Mate: Has faced non-graded stakes company. Should be in good stalking position from rail. Jane Cibelli does well w/turf starts. 3 On Tap: is stretching out for Linda Rice. Rice does very well with first at a route. Jose Ortiz is in the irons. This gelding has faced better.

Race Eight:

7 Gottachancetodance: Can handle this marathon turf route. Javier Castellano in the irons is a big plus. 2nd off a layoff for Todd Pletcher. 3 Achnaha: The Main Threat. Third in last in the Grade III Glens Falls at one and 3/8ths. Manny Franco is in the irons for George Weaver. 6 Kitzys Rocket: Fits in this company. May surprise. This is the kind of race that Barclay Tagg can win. Solid recent work. Jose Ortiz in irons. 1 Greywalls: Could be a surprise and complete and exotic. Eric Cancel can put this filly in contention from the rail. John Terranova II trains.

Race Nine:

7 Orzo: My upset try in the finale. Has faced much better. Rudy Rodriguez has been red hot. Does well sprint-rte-sprint. Irad Ortiz, Jr. 1 Sauvignon: Cuts back and might makes waves from the rail. This filly has faced better. Solid turf breeding. Jose Ortiz for Bruce Brown. 3 I Love You Still: Longshot try, especially if she goes to the front. Freud-bred goes to route-to sprint for Tom Bush. Double-A in the irons. 6 Laura’s Patriot: Another longshot. Might just pick up the pieces. Second in last; appears to like Belmont oval. Jomar Torres in the irons.
