Thread is belated, but this was an amazing training feat today at Chantilly.
Aiden O'Brien runners filled 1st-3rd at international pari-mutuel odds of
9-1/38-1/17-1. The often lacking French betting menu had no trifecta.
The $2 exacta paid over $353. 16 runners went to post.

BC Turf champ Found took top honors.
Highland Reel finished 2nd, with Order Of St. George in 3rd.

Here's the video.
Enjoy

I guess I should have paid more to the announcers doing the Hong Kong races at Sha Tin early Sat. morning. Right after the first of their feature races they mentioned the Arc. They were extremely high on the O’Brien horses.

As long as we are talking in 3s here.....

The first 3 were all sired by Gallieo.

The first 3 were all owned by Tabor et al.

This Aidan O'Brien is outstanding with proven success when he runs in the Breeders Cup races also. One of the best conditioners on the planet.

From article in Paulick Report:

"Horse racing fans in Japan bet approximately $40 million on Sunday's Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe from France in Japan's first imported simulcast since a new law went into effect this year."

The exacta was actually quite LOW, no doubt because of the trainer.

Just eyeballing those odds, looks like a 8 - 12,000 Tri if there was one , so we're talking about maybe at least a 1500-1 shot (6 ways to run 1/2/3)) .

So once every 1500 years you're expected to see that .;)

Triple paid 1328.20-1

According to pmu.fr

No one hit the super and the first 5

It's a wait and see right now.
I'd imagine in the next week, or so, he'll announce his intentions.

Looks like he will ship to Woodbine for the Oct 16th Canadian International.
Idaho and Highland Reel are possibie, with the former more likely.

I'd be surprised if he doesn't ship Found to SA to defend the BC Turf.
Autumn is when this lady really fires. If she comes out of Sunday well,
I bet she travels to California.

My math was little off at 1500-1 , its less than that. 5000/6 more like it.

But 1300-1 was massively underlaid for the odds involved, again, no doubt, from all the Obrien players . Im sure they are happy with the winning ticket, even though , if you assume those odds were realistic, it should have paid 5000-1

PS These crazy low payoffs are always out there, but they rarely win, so you don't see them .
