Laurel Turf

Laurel scheduled 3 races on the turf for 10/1/16. Two different programs do not indicate turf for these races. Have the turf races been switched to dirt?

Laurel scheduled 3 races on the turf for 10/1/16. Two different programs do not indicate turf for these races. Have the turf races been switched to dirt?
According to the Lrl Condition Book, there were 4 races scheduled on the turf for 10/1...In anticipation of some really crummy weather on the east cost of the US that may last 3-5 days the races were taken off the turf.
Also....The management had to use 2 of the substitute races in addition to writing two more races that were not in the Book....
The two Stakes are intact as they are both on the main track.
Saturday should have been a great day, but the stupid weather is going to kill it.
Belmont has at least 5 or 6 scheduled on the grass, and save for the Turf Classic ( which when NYRA saw only 4 entered, they should have cancelled)all will probably come off the turf.

All of Laurel's grass races for Friday and Saturday have been moved to the dirt, due to the rain we've gotten in Maryland over the last few days.
