These factors are the major factors that I look at when handicapping a race. If you wanted to devise a point system for each, which would rate highest and by how much? For example, if I make recent speed a 10-7-5-2-0 point scale, how would the other factors rate ? Each horse would be given a point rating for each individual category. Basically, I add up the numbers and use it for horses to include in exotic bets, rank lower than 7th in the field, eliminate ....

I'll give it a shot...

Form(Condition), Running Style, Recent Speed, Back Speed, Connections. As far as I'm concerned, class and recent/back speed are the same thing.

As a sidenote, this can vary from race to race. Connections for example, mean very little to me unless there is a change from the last race.

By far, the first one on my list is the toughest to measure.
