Decided to take a look at the PPs. I dont play parx really ever, so I was curious to see the wagers for tomorrow. No pick 5 which I understand could just be an issue with getting it approved and takes some time. Here is where the fun starts.

They offer two pick 4s, one starting in race 8, the next starting in race 9, with both including the songbird race.

Why overlap these with a 12 race card? I get wanting your major stakes in a pick 4, but come on.

Could songbird lose, anything is possible. But having two pick 4s overlapping this way with her race is insane to me.

Well my print screen isnt working on here, but I have one starting in race 8 and one in race 9. I just checked my equibase app and see only one starting on race 8. I am totally confused now.

The absurd part is the takeout. F Them and their 26% takeout on Pick Bets, Correct me if I'm wrong.

17% WPS, 20% Exacta, 30% on tris and supers, 20% on doubles and 26% for the pick ns. Crazy stuff!

The 30% is absolutely insane but they're kind of a Monday/Tuesday monopoly most of the year, so they probably feel they can do it.

I'll be playing the PA Derby but it's one of the very few days I ever give a look to any racing in Pennsylvania.

the issue might be when the overnight 1st came out it had the Gallant Bob as race 8 and the PA Derby Champion Stakes was race 9. The idiot racing secretary decided he wanted to switch the order of the races after the fact so i'm sure thats why some pp's show a pick 4 in race 8 and 9.
