Ramblings rather than selections . . .
Race 1 - #1 DISCREET FLOWER was outrun early last time by JOYRIDING, a filly on the move. She can escape NL2 jail with a more aggressive ride back today.
Race 2 - #5 PARRAKEET is the new face in town and fresher than the rest.
Race 3 - #1 STARLIT FANTASY flashes much the best sprint fig.
Race 4 - Nabu Morales will be picking from a powerful entry. #2 JESSETHEMARINE and #2A REASON TO BE PROUD are both sharp and ready. #7 COTTONWOOD CANYON has been competitive with these in the past but fell off drastically last time for new connections. #1 (POE) MIZZ WIZZ dropping a couple classes is an interesting option.
Race 5 - This is a dicey Ohio allowance at the testing one mile distance. #1 LEONA'S REWARD and #5 FAST JUSTICE may duel early. #4 OHIO GOLD would profit from that scenario if neither of them clears off. #3 KERFLUFFLE can be excused for her loss to Ohio stakes boys on the turf after beating stakes fillies over Cincy's grass making her a player for an outfit that moves from dirt to turf successfully at a 31% clip. Another "needs the lead" type #2 STRIKING LASS usually hits the board.

Today's jock TD HOUGHTON seems to bring the best out of him. #1 CUPID'S HIT recorded the fastest 6f time in this field last time; the old warrior gets a slightly lighter condition here. As always Morlona Racing with #2 TROPICAL DEPUTY is the elephant in the room.
