hi, i was viewing a par file produced by cynthia publishing.

they have their pars broken down by class for all distances at all tracks.

lets say for 6 furlongs they have pars from maiden claiming all the way up to stakes races. what par would best represent the AVERAGE PAR FOR THE 6 FURLONG DISTANCE?

The horse has a 20 Variant...That is 2 ticks above the average
of 18. So for Each 1 point over .. increase the Speed Rating by
a 1/2 point...etc ... Same for the lower variants. It works pretty
well.
