On my side of the bay, it's got to be Carr or Cooper. Certainly nobody on the Oakland defense. Unless its purely a black thing, because I thought Oakland area types loathed the 49ers.

I would hold off on the Roy Hobbs comparisons for now. He actually does have a good swing, but baseball is a sport that one can't take 10 years off and just pick it up. If you don't start playing by age 7, you are behind the 8 ball. If he elected to go the MLB route instead of Florida football and the NFL, it could very well have been a different story.

I agree. Even pitchers at double A level will be a challenged for him.
