Beat the fave in the 10th, place and show in the get out...

Almost a decent night..Got the 6 on the engine, honest fractions, bit too honest perhaps, and fades late in the lane.. :bang:

Winner was tough, and held off the 7--Mr Varsity--who was rolling outside after getting a rough trip on the backstretch.

GLA the rest of the evening..

Slight edit--the 7 was the winner in the 10th...the 7..

I wish I could figure out this track. I do very well with Pocono, Vernon and The Meadows. This track not so much. Congrats to you.

I think sometimes mohawk is a great track for closers, and other times speed is king, watch a few races and see if speed is holding or vice versa, maybe the other guys who are more familiar with canada can talk about the wind and biases there, i've found following the biases can help a lot.

It was almost a good night, but it wasnt. I really haven't been gambling at all, but I cut my teeth here on the "Dark Side" and enjoy a few plays on occasion. As the other poster noted, watch a few races and try and get a feel for how the track is playing. Speed wasn't holding that we'll late, because if it was, and the 6 would've held on in the get out, I was looking at a double paying $201 and change...but, instead, lost $19.20, but enjoyed the evening.

Some sharp guys over here, and.you can learn a lot.

If I had to pick my preferred ttacks...Mohawk, pompano and Pocono..
