The official story is that the horse veered to the left. Well since they did not show a head on replay, I can't agree with this assesement.

The horse was Spencer's Magic in the 5th at Hollywood on Wednesday. A. Bisono was aboard.

From what I could see, the horse was bearing out and then juck ducked in sharply and the jock must have seen the rail coming and decided to bail or lost his balance.

I'd have to say, If I were going to throw a race by jumping / falling off a horse, I'd do it at the start to minimize my risk of injury. Not coming down the stretch at 35 miles an hour with horses behind me.

Ill bet the jock was taken by surprise as the horse ducked, Some jocks ride so short, Its very easy to lose your balance with your knees above the saddle,I wouldnt think he would jump as he could get hurt, That sky dirt sky dirt as your rolling around isnt no laughing matter, Hope the jock rides that horse back!!..That horse will then have that jocks undivided attention!!..Look for higher odds next time because of this!!
