I just saw a pic five where there were two $50 horses and a $38 horse. In the sequence. It paid $25,000. It should've paid 250,000. I'm saying best handicapper of the year that nailed it.

Actually nobody hit it, there was a DQ in the last leg and 20k is carrying over.

Not commenting on the quality of the DQ as it looked valid, but pretty damn rough to be the only person in the country to have the 17-1 last leg winner after having two 25-1 shots earlier and then get taken down. I'd have had to take a couple days off after that one.

How did you hit the consolation when you thought the bet was hit 5/5? You were here complaining about it but had mysteriously been given $300? :bang:

I turned off the TV after I lost and didn't think about it. I can upload my ticket if you like.if you were listening to the race the announcer said that somebody hit the pick five. Believe me I had no idea until I read this forum later on. Nice surprise

Its too hard to to play daily...takeout is too much. Play it when its low at about 10k so your big tickets have a shot to sweep. CD has been good. I hit it 3 times when the pool was given away but the tickets are usually 3k or more. Two for about 30k and the closing day one at CD was large and dont quote me but the consolations and stuff was over 45k. Your best to just wait for those days because you get huge fields and at least twice the parlay. Its tough for people to compete with your 3-5k tickets that day. One longshot and your going to cream them. When the pool is 15k being bet into it I will have 1500 in a ticket. Its a good edge....if the carryover is 30k.. seems like it anyway..
