Race 3 :6: Speedy Wally (3-1) Winless after 22 races in Hong Kong.

Races with runners coming out of key races (multiple winners that have come back out of those races and won at or higher class than today's).
Race 2 :4: Gentilis (6-1) Race 651 has had 4 winners come out of it, 1st, 3rd, 4th and 11th.
Race 5 :7: Victory Marvel (3-1) Race 659 the winner and second place runners came back and won next time out.

Horses off my watch list:
Race 2 :3: Breeders’ Star (12-1) Very slow away (2 lengths), at rear along the rails, pace good, lack turn of foot in straight.
Race 2 :10: Rising Power (31-1) Raced on the rail after breaking 3 lengths slow from the gate, 5-1/4L behind the leader, not suited to the slow pace, not competitive.
Race 4 :3: Super Sprinter (2-1) Half missed on jumping, shifted to the fence and travelled 3Ls behind the leader, ran on well for 2nd.
Race 8 :12: Blocker Dee (7-1) Quickly away, holding rail inside leading pack before throwing head about when crossed 900m. Tailed leader to straight, not much room to 300m, one-paced when clear.

Race 3 :1: Best Jade Triumph (11-1)
Race 6 :3: Golden Sleep (14-1)

Good morning Woody! I see you’re back in action at Happy Valley.
I may not be able to show up for the early races, but maybe for some of the later ones.

In the meantime I took a look at the M/L’s and the early odds and came up with some preliminary picks for each race.
Hopefully the live tote action will shed some more light on these and any others I might have missed.

It looks like another value packed day at Happy Valley with big fields in ALL 8 Turf races.
