confusion abound;
is Greg Wolf still a TVG employee or a guest host on the MSG site?

I know thta Jason and the TLG have been guest commentators
on TVG, perhaps the reverse scenario is whta is happening?

Good ol' Vic, always keepin' it classy.

As to the original question, since Greg Wolf's Twitter handle is "Wolf on FOX" I'm going to take a wild guess and say he works for FOX Sports now.

I'm not sure who Greg works for right now, other than us, but we're fortunate to have him as part of our team.

As for poor Vic, I just hope that one day someone gets to the bottom of whatever person is posting under his name on message boards. Surely no actual member of the industry would constantly behave in such an unfortunate manner on the internet. Frankly, it's a little hard to believe that any person, in any line of work, would act so consistently boorishly.

He's been with Fox for a while now while still working at TVG at times. Definitely know he was a studio host for college football on FS1 and FS2 at a minimum.

No worries.

Sometimes the hypocrisy of some of our contributors gets the best of me.

I'm expected to be a 365 dartboard.

But when I respond to the high, mighty and condescending by throwing a barb or two back.

Here comes the pot calling the kettle black.

At least I don't draw my conclusions based on what someone else has to say.

IMO brash, outspoken and knowledgeable is a winning trifecta.

All excellent traits which I believe TLG brings to the table.

IMO he also brings several not as admirable behaviors into play.

But I've already been down that road too many times.

Overall. Any horseplayer is more likely to prosper by listening to TLG than not.

Because I was taught that “and” is use for adding information; “but” is for unexpected or different information and when two connected things are in opposition.

However if I would rewrite the post it would be: ………….he is brash, outspoken, and he is very knowledgeable………………

IMO...any horseplayer worth his salt is BOUND to be outspoken at times. There is so much "misinformation" floating around in this game...it isn't always easy to keep a low profile when we enter into discussions about it.

The more knowledgeable a horseplayer is...the more "outspoken" he will sometimes seem.

I am of the opinion that the more knowledgeable a horseplayer is the less outspoken he is. He prefers to sit off to the side and observe the debates with a wry smile.

I have been trying to resist joining the fray for a year now with mixed results.
