One of my favorite track announcers is back:

Hopefully there is more to come after this.

Count me as happy too! I loved him when he was calling at Thistledown during my formative years.

I never realized he was a fellow RTIP-er. That moves him up a few lengths.

You still down at River? I was in line for the slide at Coney today when they were loading for the last over there. Been spendin more time at the pool after work than the track. Oh the sacrilege!

Yeah. It ain't the same, that's for sure. Seems like lots of people have chosen other entertainments over the current set-up.

Man I just miss my 2nd floor of the grandstand! There were about 2 dozen of us that would be up there on either end for years since I was a 23 year old kid(43 now!). Offtrack stuff has been affecting my ontrack appearances so I will be down there when I can. PM me so I can find you when I'm down Lee.

Good to see Bobby back in the booth.

Los Alamitos is lucky to have him.

He's way too good of an announcer not to have a full time gig somewhere. He called many of my winners at Calder, I can't tell you how much Ive missed him.
