Starting today, I will be testing a potential Longshot spot play angle on Pace View. The following criteria is needed to meet this angle:

1) The horse must have improved from in value from E1 to E2. (Also improving from E2 to LATE is an added bonus).

2) Horse must gain from PP1 to PP2 by at least two positions or better., meaning the value from in PP2 must be at least two lower than PP1.

3)His PRIME value must be in the top 50% of runners

Things you can look for to add to your confidence level, but are not required are

1)On the class drop2)Improvement in value from EARLY POWER to LATE POWER.

I will post some past results from archives to give you an idea how this angle works.

Hey coach...i should have read your rules more thoroughly. After re-reading, I thought you might be mis-interpreting PP1 and PP2, as PP1 is 1st-call last race..and PP2 is 1st-call 2back...I double-checked the read-me text and now see where you would get that idea from.

You were under the impression PP1 was 1st call--and PP2 was 2nd call---

Very sorry about that--that's wrong and has been corrected in the read me. I don't think this would doom your spot play, but it sure wouldn't help it any.

Also BL1 and BL2 are 1st call LAST and 1ST call 2BACK

Reason being, pace call never was a tipoff of impending improvement--in this context.

I'll leave the "corrected" READ ME text up--but I've already had programmed in YOUR way into Pace View coach--if you or anyone else would like it---showing the 1st call and 2nd call---I got 10 copies---hit me up--NCG

That certainly makes a huge difference in what I was looking for. I haven't looked t any PP's the past few days and was curious why so many horse were making positive moves on the far turn (gaining in position as well as lengths behind.

I would indeed love to have a copy that shows gains from c1 to c2 in last out as well as BL1 to BL2 comparisons in last race as well. Thanks!!

As of right now....test aborted.

I will be starting the test over now that I have my updated copy of Pace-View. I don't anticipate as many contenders this time. Therefore, I will be doing a hypothetical $2 W/P on each contender. I will list today's horses as I find them...
