Just depends. On the weekends I'll get a forum pass off of drf or if I am at the track ill get a program. During the week I try to base off of jockey trainer pace figs record. If I see a good jockey on a midshot or longshot. I will tend to bet it. Also at the bigger pool tracks I like the mediocre jocks sometimes. For example on of my favorites in the NY circuit is M Franco. If I dont have a forum I try to pick a horse that will land in the 1 2 or 3 money spot and just bet wps. The exotics is more of a combination of what the odds are on the horses.

I like betting 50 cent tri boxes and 10 cent super boxes a lot on smaller fields. Sometimes you get lucky with a midshot or longshot that takes first. Preferably 6 7 or 8 horse fields.

Also those type of bets will save you on tracks like Del Mar and Saratoga. Bigger pools bigger fields payout great on those types of bets.
