If you're a gun grabber, please read

"The top-line finding of the study — that the overwhelming majority of gun crimes aren't committed by lawful gun owners — reinforces a common refrain among gun rights advocacy groups. They argue that since criminals don't follow laws, new regulations on gun ownership would only serve to burden lawful owners while doing little to combat crime."

I do not think the gun grabbers can handle the truth.

Want to anger a Conservative, lie to them.
Want to anger a Liberal, tell them the truth.

Most gun grabbers rely on dogma and emotion, not facts or reality. I remember one woman interviewed a while back who said that citizens should not own guns because she felt safer in her own house knowing that the neighbors were not armed.

It's like that nonsense with horsey the other day - theyh let out a guy who freaking shot the presidnet, and he is worried gun laws won't keep him away from guns.

IF there was any concern, WHY LET THE SOB OUT in the first place.

Dem brains don't get enough oxygen - they sit on them all day.

Allow me to explain Horsey's mind (such as it is): Brinkley deserves to be out; but he just doesn't deserve to own a gun.

The Gun Grabber in Chief has signed an executive order redefining the legal definition of a gun manufacturer. Currently, a manufacturer is one who builds a gun from scratch. Under the new definition, it would apparently include anyone who makes modifications to existing guns. The change would require gunsmiths to register as manufacturers and pay an annual license fee of $2250 and be subject to increased regulation. This would likely put many small operations out of business.

Yup. The incrementalism to take guns away from law abiding citizens continues. No surprise that Obama, who is definitely not small business friendly and a complete whiner when it comes to not getting Congress to pass laws related to his agenda, comes up with another executive order that will have exactly zero effect on reducing crime or terrorism.

You know that The Hag, when speaking of "common sense" gun laws, has a whole different view on what that is compared to what the founders meant. She also lied when she said she didn't want to repeal the second amendment or take guns away. That's exactly what she wants.

Expect the incrementalism to continue. More licensing fees, taxes on ammo, taxes to support gun safety training, restrictions on ownership to requiring firearms to be locked up at a club, etc. The end game is confiscation, but Civil War could easily break out prior to that....

Look to the big blue states to see the way the libs want to move. California just redefined 'assault weapons' so that nothing currently in production will be legal to buy, enacted a back ground check to buy ammo, and outlawed possession of previously grandfathered 'hi-cap' magazines.

NY shows both sides of the coin. A new law in 2013 required the registration of new or existing 'assault weapons'. Estimates are that there are over a million such weapons in the state. By the April 2014 deadline, less than 45,000 had been registered.

Maybe not, it is a fair guess there are more LEO's that are democrat because union membership than republican. It is also a fair bet Donald J. Trump gets much more LEO votes than Clinton. So as she takes her long gaze into the abyss of law abiding gun owners, in turn the gaze at her may not be favorable.

A study done by scientists at the University of Pittsburgh, no doubt spending grant money, found that most criminals arrested in possession of firearms were not the legal owners of such firearms.

Who would have guessed that?

Amazing the things you can learn if you throw enough money and PhDs at it.

Nearly 80 percent of perpetrators carrying a gun recovered by Pittsburgh Police were not the lawful owners, a strong indication that theft and trafficking are significant sources of firearms involved in crimes in southwest Pennsylvania, a new University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health analysis reveals.
