In the middle of watching Bernie Sanders speak at the convention last night, there was a lightning strike near my home in Oklahoma City that knocked out the cable reception. By the time I got things back up and running, he had already finished.

I knew Oklahoma was a red state, but I didn't know it was THAT red! :D

Obviously, He missed on purpose to get your attention and to give you another chance to rethink your stance on this election. So, don't screw it up.

If this was a sign from God then he has a problem with free speech.

I always thought He believed it was always His way or the highway (if they had them back then). Just ask Adam and Moses.

Then you either believe in God or believe in the constitution.

The cable went out AGAIN a couple minutes ago, just as Nancy Pelosi was being introduced (and it's not even raining)!

I never looked at it that way and I don't see why it would be true. But, I believe in both.

Bernie is now hated by everyone.

Bernie the socialist

Bernie the Hypocrite

Bernie the Coward. Revolutionary indeed. Anybody know any revolutionary leaders that immediately sides with the enemy after being defeated--especially since he now knows that he was right saying that the fix was in for Hillary.

Back to your Vermont Teddy Bears, Bernie. Hug one for me.

I thought you were in Alabama?

Sorry for the delay in responding.

I would have been perfectly content staying in the Huntsville, Alabama, area after retiring there from my Civil Service job with the Army in 2013, but my wife wanted to be closer to at least one of our two kids -- our son (and his wife) in Cambridge, Massachusetts (where they both went to law school)(also, she's from Vermont); or our daughter (and her husband) in the Oklahoma City area (Norman), where she's looking for long-term employment as a high-school math teacher. (We had lived in McAlester, Oklahoma, prior to moving to Alabama in 2011, and we had left her behind when we moved, attending East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma, where she met her now-husband, who is from Oklahoma.)

Since (as they say) if mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy, we moved in September, 2015, to south Oklahoma City. The upsides for me (being a city person, a horseplayer, and a retiree) are that I'm in an even larger metropolitan area than Huntsville; Remington Park is only about a fifteen-minute drive north on I-35; and it's MUCH more affordable than it would be living in the Boston area. I'm here for the foreseeable future, since I'm no longer subject to periodic relocation, as I was when I was working. (Just don't ask me what we'll do if our daughter ever moves out-of-state!) (Plus, as an added bonus, I've gotten to meet cj, who lives nearby.)

Much more likely with unintelligible speech.

Not really, no one denied Bernie his right to lie and babble on.
God merely, as anyone has the right to do, WARNED us not to listen the Devil!

I would have been perfectly content staying in the Huntsville, Alabama, area after retiring there from my Civil Service job with the Army in 2013, ...I was stationed at Redstone Arsenal for almost three years. I got out just after the moon landing in 1969. NASA laid off a bunch of people making it impossible to find a job there so I had to leave. It's a wonderful city and area. I would love to have stayed but that was not to be.
