And if Gore had been elected, Sadamm would still be in power popping Sunnis' into wood chippers.
What is your point? We should have left SH in power?
Sec, do you ever think about things befroe you post them, or are you just a "Manchruian Candidate," rising up from you game of solitare long enough to search for things to post against Bush and then go back to playing you red 10 on you your black jack?
What woudl Kerry do in Iraq? For simplicity's sake, assume it it Tuesday-look up KJ's Tuesday opinions and then reply/

I think you could say that it is Clinton and Torricelli's Intelligence services that are blowing these things.............more accurate anyway. But I understand you don't care about accuracy. Tom is right.........you are pathetic

How long are you guys going to keep blaming Clinton? It's been 4 years. I notice Clinton didn't blame Poppa Bush or Reagan on Somalia or the first WTC incident shortly AFTER he took he office. He took the responsiblity. That was in his first year in office. JR you are so partisan that in 2050 you'll still be blaming Clinton for something and Lefty will spouting fears of new socialism.

Clinton was flawed President, no doubt about it, but Bozo has taken things to new heights - the rampant greed is beyond beleif. Frankly, I don't even beleive he is in charge but is just a spokesperson for Cheyney, Card and Rove.

Yes despite all this....even if all you say is true, I still wouldn't vote for John Kerry. Imagine that!

And remember, I am not a hard core, right-wing Republican. I know there are plenty of flaws with the current administration.

Still....no John F*** Kerry for me....no thank you sir!

This just appeared in the NY Times below.:

Pentagon Says Bush Records of Service Were Destroyed
By RALPH BLUMENTHAL

Published: July 9, 2004

HOUSTON, July 8 – “Military records that could help establish President Bush's whereabouts during his disputed service in the Texas Air National Guard more than 30 years ago have been inadvertently destroyed, according to the Pentagon.

It said the payroll records of "numerous service members," including former First Lt. Bush, had been ruined in 1996 and 1997 by the Defense Finance and Accounting Service during a project to salvage deteriorating microfilm. No back-up paper copies could be found, it added in notices dated June 25.”

Considering that the census records from 1850 are available on microfilm and have been for years and years, it's highly dubious the microfilm from the 1970s would get destroyed so easily. Same with microfiche.

And below, I guess another Lt. Col. just lying in link below.

http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/02/12/elec04.prez.bush.texas.records/

And interesting enough these records are somehow found out missing just days after the AP sues the Pentagon for the records. Convenient. Has the taint of Cheney on it.

No, GW has nothing to hide. And you prefer this chickenhawk Bozo to a silver star recipient Kerry? Well, there’s no accounting for taste.

The Bush Administration, with all its warts, has done enough in my eyes, to warrant another 4 years.

Known over the unknown, in my opinion. I'm not willing to take a chance on Kerry, especially given the dangerous times we live in.

9/11 was a scant 2+ years ago. GWB has had to operate in a very unique environment since that fateful day, and he was done what he promised he would do when he stood on the WTC rubble in downtown NY.

He's hunted down terrorists, he's taken the battle to countries who harbor and give comfort to terrorists, and he's kept America safe since 9/11. Spin it anyway you want, but to this New Yorker, I'll keep the STATUS QUO until a ticket who is MORE APPEALING than Kerry/Edwards comes to town, be they Republican or Democrat makes not a bit of difference to me.

History repeats?

"Nixon's secretary, Rose Mary Woods, testified that when a phone rang, she must have pushed the wrong button and left her foot on a pedal, accidentally recording over part of the original conversation.

A panel of experts set up in the 1970s by federal judge John Sirica, who presided over the Watergate criminal trials,
concluded that the erasures were done in at least five - and perhaps
as many as nine - separate and contiguous segments."

Anybody know if Mrs Woods is still working for the white house? And if so maybe she threw them over the fence. And while we are checking, any updates on if OJ found the real killer(s) yet?

OJ would make a better presidnet than Kerry! He has at least demonstrated the ability to put together a winning team.
Kerry picked Edwards!:D

Not according to the Lt. Col in the second link. I guess I don't get the motivation of this Lt. Col to lie. Whereas I certainly understand Bush's reason to lie.

Irrelevant. What happened 30 years ago has been superceeded by the last three years of solid leadership and accomplishments.
Bush - a proven leader.
Chenney - proven leader witht eh ability to step in and take over on a monment's notice. A man of few words. And those are very applicable word, too. Says more with one finger than Kerry has said all his life!

Kerry - uncertain leader for uncertain times.
Edwards - bottom feeding trail lawyer who talks to dead babies and will not stand up for his values.

Bush - proven incompetent
Cheyney -proven liar and swearer

Kerry- Silver Star medalist who saved a man's life, has a lifetime of service, and has great record on environment, and for the working class
Edwards- fought for people victimized by corporations. Remember Edwards didn't decide those cases. Juries did. People. Is it his fault he's a good trial lawyer? Of course not. We should look at his cases and the people he covered. I'm sure we'll hear more about that rather than Edward's wife's bottom.

He was being polite when he first declined. civilized people do that, but then that would be news to you. The reason he is not addressing them is becasue they are a racist organization run by outright bigots who have personal agendas and are playing an enitre race of people to thier own rewards. The NAACP has no useful purpose other than to hold people down in order to appear to be thier saviours, and to extort money by threatening boycotts with high profile criminals like Jesse Jackson.
It would be a waste to time to address people who do not think.

Hcap - so what significance is a net poll from CNN? All you do is point out a subset of blind morons who have computers and go to biased news pages. Did you not see the reactions of DEMOCRATIC senators coming out of the briefing they recived behind closed doors - they were visably rattled over what they were told and saw in there. So if you still insist there is nothing new, then is it not a fair assumption that Al Qeada has nothing new planned and that homeland security is doing a tremendous job considering all the trror activity elsewhre in the world?

hcap

Subset? Maybe, but cnn is not to far from the mainstream, and internet users voting in this poll are not either fox rightys or dem underground types. Sort of the middle. 92% is pretty powerfull even if it is skewed by too many libs, which I don't think it is.

Remember the duct tape days? Installs confidence don't ya think?

The fact remains that unless WE believe we are being told the truth, yellow, orange or red is kinda ignored. This administration has lied to us over and over again. From WMDs and "mushroom clouds" and aluminum tubes to Jessica Lynch and to fake toppling of Saddams' statue, to now the july suprise of trying to get Osama in time to spoil the dem convention, these guys don't let up.

I am not saying we face no real threats.
I for one would rather have spent the 100's of billions squandered invading Iraq on increased international intelligence and cooperation, port security, nuclear plant security and energy independence. But it seems a large majority of us have doubts about this administrations credibility.

So let's see he lied to them to be polite as you say, but then figured (Cheyney Expletive> I'll not be polite within a couple of days and tell them what I really think, is that it? What a gentleman. Certainly a moral example for all of us in civility.

Any idiot can put up a website and list all the popular postioins.
Maybe you can update me a few things?

Q - Does Kerry still use the SMV that he dosn't own in one state, but does in Michigan?
Q- Kerry said he belived life began at conception, and he also is in favor of women killing this life as their choice, so if a woman is mad at her husband, does he favor allower her to make the coice to kill hum with a vaccumm cleaner as well?
Q- Did Kerry ever remeber if it was ribbons or medals he threw away?
Q-During the primaries, Kerry felt Edwards was not qualified to be president. Does it now bother him that he has put an unfit person a heartbeat awat fro the presidency?
Q-How come his wife's name was T-ur-esa and now it is T-ay-resa? Is this a subliminal message to get a certain groups votes?
