Did anyone else catch this? The day after the Belmont Stakes the evening New York Win 4 number was 1017. It was the highest payout ever ($6,025,040). Its a strange number but I think I figured out why so many people hit it. The Sunday Daily News as well as all other papers and highlights talked about Birdstone and Zito. Mike Lupica's article went further, it mentioned Zito's address 1017 84th Street, Ozone Park hmmm Did that make everyone play it??? Zito's big day and all others want to touch gold too.
The funny thing is I think 1017 84th Street does not exist in Ozone Park
Just thought I share this with everybody cause I did not see any articles about it and even called up the lottery and they had no idea about why so many people it that particular number
