Good Lord - I bet him at 7-1 with 0MTP, and he crosses the wire a winner at 5-2.
Looks like 5k was bet on him to win late, very late.

I'm away from any horse channel so forgive me for asking. What was the net win pool? ML? Was there a hot fave and was your horse the second choice before the big punch(es)? When did the odds update? After they hit the wire? Stretch? Far turn?

That sucks.... 16 to 7 hurts.

About 26k in the win pool...he went from about 1k to 6k bet on him very late.
10-1 ML and went of as co-fave, beating the 3rd choice, a 3-1 shot.
I noticed the odds change at the first flash (when he had taken a clear lead into the first turn )

I bet him, too. Not fun at all when things like this happen.

No doubt...I liked him so much I almost started a selection thread about him.
Other folks apparently liked him too

would have been interesting to see what his SP was on the betting exchange,
you can bet Parx in the UK, but not Jersey.

It was a bad morning line but the money did come in right at post time. Barn just put over another at 6-1 in the 7th at Parx too.

That guy is a sharp trainer... that was an old HTW mail horse that won... found that nice nl4 level.. seemed extremely happy taking that picture... i was too busy reading a poster taking half ass shoots at me so i didn't bet as i got shut out... no biggie was only going to bet small amount anyways

Can you point out where this happened? Because I was looking, checking the time of the postings, and can't find anything until well after that race was over and the thread was posted.

Martian Kantarmaci is on his way to becoming the next 25%+ guy at Parx. He won two races last week and I believe he's already got big numbers off the claim.

Parx is slowly becoming like America. America is going the route of rich and poor no middle. Parc is becoming the place of 25% trainers and 5% trainers.

I never said a word about a redboard. I was talking about you saying a poster was taking potshots so you missed the race. I couldn't find them any posts around the time of the race, that is all.

Don't worry...it all evens out in the end. In the not-too-distant future, you will no doubt wager on a 5-2 shot which will shock you by paying $16.00 to win. It hasn't happened to me, mind you...but some seemingly intelligent people keep telling me that it's possible.

Wait a minute. Is that really THE THASKALOS?

If so, it's great to hear from you!
