looks like Belmont may be facing some thunder storms today.
Current temp ids 67 degrees, actually feels like early October.

Then again,I've always stated Belmont gets lucky with weather on major
racing days.

Best bet of the day could be the over/under bet on attendancre.

I'm picking 15,000 based on weather forecast.

regardless, kudos to NYRA on this card, hoping turf races are
not impacted...

Very nice breeze all day. Felt more like the fall meet here. I would be really surprised if they had 15,000.

On track handle was $2,898,825. Not sure if this is true on track handle since they treat their ADW bets as an on track wager. Even so, assuming a wager per cap figure of $225 a person which is usually what they get, comes out to just under 13,000 in attendance. Some gutsy performances today!
