Residents in Washington, DC took a break from their Fourth of July celebrations Monday night to call out PBS for its phony coverage of the Capitol's annual fireworks display.

Shortly after the fireworks kicked off Monday night at the annual 'A Capitol Fourth' concert, PBS viewers started posting online about how the footage looked like it had been reused from a previous year.

Is being honest so hard that no news agency can handle it?
PBS has jumped the shark - time to pull the plug.

The explanation that I heard, was that a cloud cover had move in, and you couldn't see the live fireworks. :)

This is gonna make my brother laugh. He told me on the golf course this morning that something was odd about the DC fireworks last night. Said at times the sky was cloudy and other times clear, yet it was a cloudy night back home. Thought it might have been fake. This will make his day lol.
