I wondered down in my basement and found a little card with rules for a horserace system I must have purchased in the mid-90's. All I have is this little card with no information but I was a subscriber to Philips Newsletter back then and sent for all kinds of free and moderatley priced methods and since someone on the board told me theres no infringment on copyright etc here goes:

No maiden or stakes races

Check horses trained by top 10 trainers only

Last race in the money 1,2,3
2nd race back out of the money 4th or worse

2nd race back must have been within 60 days

Wager 1 unit to win 3 units to place

Maybe someone with a data base can quickly check this to see if I had a goldmine in my basement for the last 15 yrs

I have a database, but don't need it to tell you that is no goldmine.

With the possible exception of the guy/mill that sold it. :D

Last 2 good races will make it a decent show or short field place system, but for wins it misses a lot of horses coming back into good race circumstances. Write near horse's name your assessment of the horse's purse limit for success.

Many years ago I was conned into buying their methods too.
But found that the "free" methods, were overpriced.
And the rest of their methods were very good for:
