There's a "SmartyMarty" listed on the PA birthday calendar. Says he turns 106 years old on July 16, born in 1910 on his profile. Just curious if this member still exist here? Hasn't posted since 2009.

There's a "SmartyMarty" listed on the PA birthday calendar. Says he turns 106 years old on July 16, born in 1910 on his profile. Just curious if this member still exist here? Hasn't posted since 2009.

2009 would be about right, maybe a year or so later. Marty was nowhere near 106, even when he left us, losing a long battle with cancer. He had been retired for some time. A lifelong NYer, he loved Belmont Park. Too, he was kind, an easy going, exceedingly gracious man with a beautiful wife, a daughter, and a son. He was loved by many. His real name was Kel, his only sibling was his brother, Marty, who he loved dearly. Marty was special needs and Kel watched over his brother's well being, his financial affairs, etc, etc, all of their lives. They lived in Brooklyn. Marty had his own apartment, not far from Kel and his wife.

You would've liked him. Everyone did.
