Visiting Ky Downs this September for the first time from Seattle. How is this tracks seating - they offer finish line seating in a tent or Turf club indoor seating ?? which is better to enjoy the experience - also why do they not post pictures of the seating in the Turf club or finish line?

Unless it's changed in the past few yrs, seating is very limited and it isn't that easy to follow the races from outside (due to the track configuration). That said, I think you'll enjoy it ... almost has a country-fair feel to it out by the track. If you haven't already decided, I'd recommend you stay in Nashville. It's about 45 mins from the track.

Bowling Green has quite a few motels, the Corvette plant / display is cool, if your into that

The balcony in the simulcast building is a fun vantage point, there is a temporary jumbotron there so you can see the finish.

Walking out is like walking out of a mansion with a cool track in the backyard. No other place like it.

Park a lawn chair near the paddock and mingle with the locals, trainers and owners.

Lots of chain hotels off the interstate exit and a really fantastic little mexican restaurant near the hotels. All only 5 minutes away. They also have high stakes Bingo at night and a smallish simulcast room. The Instant Racing slots do not pay well so you or spouse should avoid those.

But the great time is just enjoying being outside in a fantastic atmosphere. Races run up and down hills bur as another poster mentioned, if you want a good view outside bring a telescope.

For wagering hints, remind us when you get closer to the date. There are some definite angles to consider,
