I had a chance to see him at Mohegan Sun Saturday night. Tremendous show and his guitar playing was off the hook! Played some familiar songs but also a few instrumentals only from his new album. Amazing energy and truly seems to love what he is doing.

When I saw the thread title, I thought it was yet another celebrity obituary.

Glad to hear he's still alive and rockin'.

I had an 8 Track of a live concert back in the early 70's - wore it out playing it while driving to college every day.

" Frampton Comes Alive " is probably among the ' must have ' albums in most classic rock collections.

Was he in the wolf den? I worked there for 4 years and the beauty of that place never got old

Whizz,
Nope he played the arena and looked like he played to at least 6 thousand ( asked 2 guys who worked there for years and they said at least that). Acoustics there are really good, man he really ripped the place up with his playing.

I saw Jay Black in the "Den" a few years ago and that place is tremendous! :)

Vintage Frampton from 1969 with Humble Pie with the huge voice of little Steve Marriott

Red Knave, you almost had it right. You only need to paste in the code after "v=" into that second box....not the whole URL...although the whole URL would be easier...I know, I know...
