If you have to use foul talk to get your point across go to some other site my kids read this one. they want to be a handicapper.
Please make your point with a civil tongue.

With Respect, I suggest you re-think about your kids wanting to
be cappers in the future, I certainly would not tell my friends to try and grasp this game, if there not alrdy involved, and my children, yes for a days outing, etc, but to cap, and try and make
money mthly........ If I put the time into studying anything else but this game, I would be at the top ! I suggest you stress EDUCATION and capping just socially, again NO OFFENSE INTENDED.......:o

thank you for your nice reply but there are a whole lot of
folks out there making a good living betting the ponies,
just like there are a lot of people making a lot of money
buying and selling every thing it just how one approach
the indeaver. there is a great deal of money being made betting
a horse or two but you can't beat them all.

Agreed, so why would you bother to instruct your siblings about this game. Yes its a great past time, and great outing etc, but I wouldn't tell my kid, kids to get actively involved in this game on a consistent basis to try and make a living:eek: I have been thru-many stomach churning incidents with this game, for many thousands of dollars, and more times than not, they have been bad experiences, shoulda, woulda, coulda's etc, If you want your kids involved, more power to you, but I would stress EDUCATION and solid career objectives, pass time is 1 thing, grinding out profits weekly, mthly, etc is another story. I'm done.
P.S. dont tell your wife your game plan...........;)

No, it doesn't matter who you are. The post was deleted, and I asked suff privately what his problem is. I'm awaiting a response.

Forgive me, I was away from my computer all day yesterday. perhaps I need to hire some help to babysit this place when I'm not looking.

I claim that betting 100$ to win on a horse is no different than betting 100$ on a sporting event. Sports betting you need to hit 55% to make any money. When you bet a horse that is at least
4/1 or better you only need to hit 33% to make a good days pay.
Thats the average public handicapper hits and you should be able to beat his pick ave. Run a paper work sheet for fun money
until youprefect your own system. I like fast tracks only 6f dirt
good claimers the amount differs from track to track as what be
20000$ claimers at belmont might only be a 5000$ claimer
at a second rate track. try mind betting for a couple of weeks
and just use one type of race and see how you did you might be surprised. You need a very good education to do any thing right.
Gambleing is no different and I do push education. Math is most
important with it you don't need a computer to tell you what
to play. people are forgetting about the ability of a person to
capp with out a computer. You only get out of a computer what you put into it and if they were that good there won't a program
for every a** hole in this world. I offen wonder if the programs
for sale are that good why would I sell it, i'd just keep it to myself
and make a very good living.

Hey penguin,

That is the best you can do? I think an apology is in order. Why anyone would give PA crap about his running of the board, EVER, is beyond me!

p.s. DWL and PVal are still fair game! :D

by the way my kids one boy and one girl are very gainfully imployed and they are 45 and 40 years old I just don't like to see that type of words used where women are reading a sports
forum there is enough crap on these computers to sink the world'
you must be a big loser betting the horses but I hope your not.
If you believe you can't win than way spend your time on this
forum that is trying to help us find a way to make money betting
on horses. I am sure that all the computer whiz on this board
are not just writing about horses, after all the time they spend
trying to develop programs some of them MUST be gamgling.

Fred, if you must know, I have lost more in a lifetime, than I WON.
I assumed your kids--WERE JUST THAT, CHILDREN.
So, they have steady jobs, and dont rely on Horse wagering to
support them. I DO wager almost daily, and do rely on gambling bucks to support myself. In recent times, I have been making cash, but, as you know, one has better weeks than others, I dont always WIN weekly. Over the years, one learns, patience
is a virtue, one must pick there spots, to be successful.
Anyway, I hope the GRANDKIDS, learn all your capping techniques
Good Luck, to you and yours

have "MANY MANY" more winning days.I'm pretty much a new york track person.Whats your favorite track?

Fred,

"...and they are 45 and 40 years old..."

LOL - Although mine aren't quite as old (only 33 and 34) it does put us in "an age" when we speak of "the kids."

Dave, are your siblings involved in horse wagering ?

PSTfredk
07-07-2004, 02:19 PM
no but egar to learn

look at race # 1 belmont gor thursday

I see the 3/4/1a/2 # 3 being my top pick # 2 scares me droping in class what do you think. the one thing I like about this race is every horse has run at belmont noshippers no "AE" horses but these are only good for a fast track,if track is not fast I will pass the day.

WinMan,

Siblings? I think you meant children. (I don't have any brothers or sisters.)

My children are not involved.
