Woodbine - Race 1

:6: Simplyirresistable M/L 15-1

as I write this 5 min to post 9-1

third off the bench, surface switch, 4-2-0-2 record on WDB turf and at this 1 1/16m LONG trip around the expansive turf course. Not the best on paper, but that's why you should get good odds.

Yes 4yo filly is a N3L facing older veteran winners, but this might be her turnaround race. Needs it all to break right for her, but possible.

:6: Simplyirresistable ran poorly. Her tail was swishing everytime jockey tried to ask her for more on the bend. Finished 7th about 9 lengths back. Boo.

Don't exactly know what the jockey was thinking. Dropping from the top of the pack to the back of the field and then trying to make up ground. :mad:

It's aggravating when jockeys give questionable rides. Yikes.

That's two posts I've tried tonight, and both were at the back swishing their tails right out of the gate. :4: was 6th by about 7 lengths.

Footnote: Both faves were off the board. :3: LUCKY MELISSA (7/2) was 4th, but slowed noticeably and pulled up after the finish line, barely galloping out. :6: STARSHIP SABRINA was behind her and faded off the turn (first off the claim to a lower pct barn). Both had front wraps on tonight after not having so last time.
