Turf racing started Memorial Day weekend, as it does every year. Even at Parx, most turf races fill. That also means they only have to fill seven dirt races, not nine.

Ummmmm the quarantine ended the Thursday before the Preakness. Prior to that no one could ship in or out.

Now you got Monmouth, Laurel and NYRA shippers in just about every race. Not to mention Delaware, Penn National and PID.

Remember you're talking about a track that fills certain classes of races with about 50% shippers.

Meanwhile, their attendance is next to nothing, the handle is small, and the takeout on many bets is a ripoff. Sweet.
