Seems like this guy went to the Elmer the clown school of training, poor Copernicus raced 4 times in April and wheeled back again today in Belmonts 5th off dreadful PPs and limped across the wire a hopelessly beaten horse. Hopefully he's ok he didn't look sound at all crossing the wire.

This training and management is a cancer on the game these are the type of people who ruin it for everyone else.

Aren't you the same guy who championed Ramon Preciado as a "miracle worker"?

....and don't play it off like you were lampooning Ramon--you were totally serious.

So whoever this trainer is today--without your endorsement he'll probably end up top trainer of the meet. :D

If you don't put the animals first, you're getting called out by horse racings greatest poster and that's not good.

Actually....while looking over the charts--the chartmaker said the horse had a "choppy gait".

Not sure what that is, but it doesn't sound like a horse that should be racing.

watch the replay of that horse traveling under the wire, he was traveling very poorly but knowing luis miranda and his pattern, this horse will probably be back in 7 days with a jump up in class and the judges and race secretary doing nothing about it, they'll accept the entry and not care one bit about the horse.
