Thank you much.

Probable favorite Nyquist has done nothing wrong, but his 2 best Beyers
were earned in races at 7 furlongs or less.

Looks like Mor Spirit's only hiccup came on an off track.

You can box Mor Spirit with Creator and Lani for a ghostly trifecta.

Thanks for posting this.

I was looking over the PP and noticed that Gun Runners last race Speed and pace figs were changed.

In DRF, both Florida Derby and Bluegrass stakes show pace that extremely favored closers...Brody closed into this great guns....and Nyquist wires the field....this tells me that Nyquists race was far superior to Brody's, doesn't it?

I was hoping for an off track. Makes it easier to toss horses that have performed poorly on wet tracks. Ot those which have no off track success in their pedigree.
The extended forecast for the Louisville area calls for sunny skies and temps in the 70's.
The rain chances expire after Wednesday.
Track should be dry. Turf should be in use.

Thanks for the pps guys. This is very interesting how different Brisnet Speedratings (the ones I use) and Beyers are. I didn't know that they disagree in so many cases. Just one example. Brisnet makes Gunrunner in the Louisiana Derby (100) faster than Nyquist in the Florida Derby (97), Beyer makes him slower (Gunrunner 91, Nyquist 94). However, I wouldn't use Speedfigures much at all for the Derby. Too many horses coming from too many different tracks and track conditions make them hard to compare.

Thanx Vigors,

Looks Like Exaggerator could be a real threat ,at least
according to the Bris data.
