Great discussion here. Both are extremely confident in their horses. I've like Mo Tom since I seeing him win the Street Sense at Churchill, and Amoss has me even more fired up to use him in the Derby.

Amoss is a spokesman on TVG, & loves hyping up his horses which don't do much from what I've seen. He should spend more time training & less time on.TVG.

Wonder if it's to simulate a race day environment? Exposed to the crowd, other horses on the track, etc.

Just found this interview. Doug discusses why they're doing it.

Correct. He had a slightly elevated white blood count. Turned out to be nothing, that way Doug talks.

Great stuff. Thanks.

Romans is hilarious. They could go another couple of hours telling stories.

Romans,
Went to see Seattle Slew when he was on his last leg, wanted to pet him.
"Sumbitch nearly ripped my arm off!"

Brody's Cause looks great to me in his gallops. Maybe this is Dale's year.

I would love to see it. Being an ole Louisville boy myself, Dale's one of our own around here. Like you, I could listen to him tell stories all day.
