Still a crazy rainy mess down in Louisiana...., but the racing will hopefully go on.

Shorter than normal fields, but with every card there are opportunities.:ThmbUp:

Yep, it isn't pretty. 8 mules go to the gate that are a collective 0 for 88. The :4: Lil'Red Hoss is off a 4 month layoff and has been beat by a combined 168 lengths in his last 4 starts. He was a ML of 4/1.

Tough race to play. I'll take a stab wit the :3: Toomuchlifetoquit as the there is some speed/fold tendency in here among many. Easy race to pass.

Looks to be a lot of speed in here again in the first 3 positions, and then the outside horse absolutely needing the lead.

:2: still looks tough. :5: taking a solid drop and will be off the pace. Not sure what to think of the :6: with the bug jock and Blinks off.:confused:

10 gals will make the gate in a wide open affair. :12: is the interesting entry as she will likely need to clear the field and then hold on. Don't see her as fast enough, and off the long layoff is a toss.

:1: has a tough post, and the :4: has had too many chances when in the mix.

:7: should be much better in here 2nd try, and the :9: with Eramia is my horse to win off the drop and on the improve with a recent solid work.

:6: Romero's Best is getting the money, and tough to dismay as the favorite, but at 3/2 is laughable.

:1: should improve in his second race as a 4YO. :7: has some decent enough races to compete, but is still hard to see winning. :3: with the cut back in distance could be around.

Well, at least we finally have a race that should get some reasonable and natural flow. (Fingers crossed).

:2: Buxton Boy should be on the lead, and will most certainly be looking to make it happen. :3: Mr. Drew should be right there with him, and the :8: Streak Afleet should be around on the front as well.

:6: Alta's Hippie Dude will finally get a decent jockey. Should get a solid trip, and will be dangerous. Not completely tossing the :9: either.

Can the :6: get the jump on a worn down :2: with the :9: sneaking in late?

Amazingly 9 are still running, and unsurprisingly the early money heads towards the "best" dirt form and class with the :10: Forest Lake.

Moving to dirt, pace becomes a much bigger factor. :11: Believeinsomething isn't going to score many points on being flashy, but she gets it done and is always there. 9 for 10 in the window.

The other to scare me is the :4: Treay Oak. Jock/Trainer angle is tough.
