Yes, I forgot he rides MMS. Also, Leparoux usually gives good horses terrible rides, & after seeing MMS cones in 2nd by 1 1/4 lengths in the Bluegrass, I'm wondering if Ortiz was on him, would he have won.

Leparoux IMO is one of the worst jockeys to have on a horse, & I hope he's not riding MMS in the derby.

Both won't make an impact in the Derby, but between the two, Whitmore is faster based on Sartin Methodology.

I think he would have. He waiting on that horse too long. See same thing happening at Church Hill. I'm not a fan. Ortiz should jump on the one with the best chance to win, and the other two do not.

For some reason those 3rd place prep finishers rarely wear the roses.

I agree. Solid horse to use underneath or even on top. Irad is fantastic at making sure he is NOT the victim at the gate (by making sure he wipes YOU out at the gate). He is patient (as he tries to emulate the great Ramon Dominguez) and the horse looks to me, to not even need pace to rally.

Will be nice to see Irad on a horse with an actual chance. His only other Derby mount was Uncle Sigh in 2014.

MMS has to be considered on just about any ticket wagered May 7th.

He a Super Rock Star, not down playing his talent, but these horses will do nothing. I'd have my agent calling around for another horse.
