The most impressive prep was the Tampa Bay Derby.

Even though it goes against how I usually look at the KD I think Destin will be on most of my tickets. Pletcher does well with extra time off. Don't like he hasn't been 9f yet but that race looks good.

How you run in Tampa stays in Tampa good or bad.

Ignoring horses that have come through Tampa on the Derby trail is a big mistake. BIG!

Street Sense was the 2YO champ and ran in the Blue Grass prior to the Derby.

Super Saver ran in the Arkansas Derby prior to shipping to Kentucky.

Destin certainly is an interesting entry in this year's Kentucky Derby. A definite wildcard.

Didn't use Will Take Charge because of no 9f prep, though he was really moving in the Derby before being stopped. Destin has a few more knocks than he did.
