I'll post live plays based on the downloaded straight and exacta or quinella tote board pools approximately 4 minuets to post time.

Plays are exacta and win plays. The exacta bet size is shown in the exacta
matrix, with the win bet shown in the extreme right hand column (you need to scroll to it)

there are few plays than usual. Hopefully it will not impact the win rate too much :)
plays will also be made when there is only 1 horse selected in a race

for example, in the above race, the matrix indicates a 102 unit bet on the 2-5, that bet is normalized by dividing it by the total bet in the exacta matrix
446.84

same applies for the win bet.
359.38 is the bet size in the matrix for the 2 horse.
actual bet size is in 359.38/446.84 = 0.804

therefore there is total $1 bet to win on all horses and $1 bet on all exacta combinationsl

that last race deserves a shout out the 4, 8 exacta returned 6.9 units for a $1 bet

I'm really not clear what you did here in the last sample matrix...Did you part wheel the 4 top and bottom with all except for the 1 horse in one case. Then did you bet 4 to win how much? As shown on the far right? With a little more explanation a think I could understand....thanks.

to brake even these results must occur 1/1.71= 58.5% of the time.

calculating the expected fair $1 exacta payout for the 5 at approx. 9/2 odds and the 2 at approx. 3/1 odds

the 5, 1/(4.5+1)= .18
the 2, 1/(3+1)= .25
assuming a 17% take out
then .18*(1-.17)= .15
.25*(1-17)= .21

min $1 payout is 1/(.15/((1-.21)) x .15) = 35. Actual payout was only 26 units
